Building your optimal soundscape.
Plan your studio space, collaborate with experts, and dream up your future sound journeys.
WHAT WE DO
We promote corporate well-being by designing full sensory wellness spaces and crafting thoughtful meditation programs for your company.
Follow the Sound utilizes research on vibration, meditation, and breath to create wellness programs and spaces that engage all five senses, help calm the “monkey mind,” and relax the nervous system. We emphasize sound meditation and breath work in our wellness programs because these techniques are accessible, easy to work with, and known to improve physical and mental well-being, helping your workforce unplug, find clarity, and reset.
Creating Soundscapes. We provide consultation on the size and acoustics of your space to determine what instruments and tools will best suit your needs. Build outs can be minimal, from just a few meditative instruments to aid in relaxation, to a full studio set-up including yoga mats, noise-cancelling headphones, and informational wall plaques.
Building Community. Follow the Sound is also connected to a vibrant network of meditation facilitators and crafts programming to help you maintain your wellness space. We can arrange weekly, hour long meditations or provide restorative programming as part of a larger corporate retreat.
WHO WE ARE
Follow the Sound was founded by Mattan Sharvit, a certified yoga and sound meditation facilitator based in NYC who studied under composer and ethnomusicologist, Alexandre Tannous, and WOOM Center co-founders, David Shemesh and Elian Zach. Many of the facilitators that Follow the Sound works with have mentored with Mattan and his teachers. Together they have developed an interdisciplinary approach to wellness that blends science, philosophy, and art.
Before establishing Follow the Sound, Mattan was Director of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility for large olive oil companies and farms, pursuing his interests in environmentally conscious practices within the corporate world. This work ultimately helped him recognize the need for conscious mindfulness practices in the corporate workspace itself, and inspired him to pursue corporate wellness. Mattan has completed over 700 hours of yoga training and has practiced sound meditation for many years, allowing him to connect to a large community of wellness experts. He believes in providing tools that help empower people to live better lives.
